Rab Phantom 2.0 Jacket
It is great for longer runs or as mandatory gear for ultra races in the mountains. However, it has also proven very useful for regular hiking on shorter trips, when you don't want to carry your heavy waterproof jacket and need to have certainty in your pocket in case of an apocalypse. When used with a very light backpack, the jacket can also be used on multi-day treks.
7D Pertex Shield 2.5L
The jacket is made of 7D Pertex Shield 2.5L stretch fabric, which is currently the lightest material used in the outdoor market (51g/m2). Thanks to the stretch, the packed volume has been minimized and it does not restrict active movement. Moreover, it is greatly packable into the hood and secured with a snap. However, the low fabric weight clearly implies that the jacket will not be suitable for really long treks and multi-day use with a backpack.

Since the jacket is oriented towards the lowest possible weight, pockets are understandably missing. The hood fits very well and has a ventilation system in the back. Its drawstring also serves as an integrated storage pocket. The elasticated hood hem and the clever brim remain unchanged. The rest of the jacket is also essentially the same. The sleeve cuffs are nicely extended and elasticated. The lower sides of the jacket are also elasticated and fit snugly to the body without restricting movement. The entire jacket can be packed into the supplied pouch and attached anywhere with a loop. The resulting package is the size of a fist.

How to measure.
Chest: Measure the entire circumference of your chest, just below your armpits.
Waist: Find the top of your hips and measure the entire circumference around your body.
Arm length: Measure horizontally from the centre of the back, over the shoulder, through the naturally bent elbow to the wrist.
Hips: Measure around the widest part of your hip area.
Inseam length: Measure from the crotch to the bottom of the ankle.
